Hilton, IHG and Hyatt Boost Buy-Points Bonuses — All End in July
Three hotel programmes are currently offering bonus points when you buy points directly, each ending on a different date in July 2026.
Hilton Honors is giving a 100% bonus on purchases of 5,000 points or more, effectively doubling what you buy. The purchase cap is raised to 240,000 points, so with the bonus a maximum buy returns 480,000 points. The deadline is 24 July 2026.
IHG One Rewards is also offering a 100% bonus on bought points, with a deadline of 16 July 2026 — the earliest of the three.
World of Hyatt is running a smaller 20% bonus on purchased points, ending 27 July 2026.
Buying points is only worth it against a specific redemption. The maths works when the price you pay per point, after the bonus, comes in below what the same reward night would cost in cash. Hyatt points tend to hold higher redemption value than Hilton or IHG points, which is worth weighing against Hyatt's smaller 20% bonus. If you don't have a booking in mind, there's no reason to buy on speculation — points bought now sit idle and can lose value if award prices rise.
