Agreement to these terms

HotelUpgrades (“the Service”) is a community website where travelers share the room upgrades and perks they received at hotels. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.

What HotelUpgrades is — and is not

Reports on the Service are personal experiences shared by other users. They are provided for general information only.

They are not promises or guarantees. An upgrade or perk one traveler received does not mean you will receive the same. Hotel policies, availability and loyalty benefits change and vary from stay to stay.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for everything that happens under your account. Please provide accurate information and choose an appropriate username.

Your content

You keep ownership of the reports, photos and comments you submit. By posting them, you grant us a non-exclusive licence to store, display and share that content within the Service so it can be shown to other users.

Only submit content that is truthful, that is your own, and that you have the right to share — including any photos you upload.

Acceptable use

When using the Service, you agree not to:

• post content that is unlawful, misleading, defamatory, hateful or abusive;
• upload photos or other material you do not have the right to share;
• impersonate others or misrepresent your stays;
• spam, scrape, or try to disrupt the Service or gain unauthorised access to it.

Moderation

We may review, edit or remove any content, and suspend or remove accounts, that break these terms or that we consider harmful or inappropriate.

No warranty

The Service and its content are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. Because reports are community-sourced and we do not verify them, they may be incomplete, out of date or inaccurate. You rely on them at your own discretion.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for any decisions you make based on information found on the Service. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Changes

We may update the Service and these terms from time to time. If you keep using the Service after a change, you accept the updated terms. The date of the latest version is shown at the top of this page.
