The other stay over the weekend. DT Tower of London. Historically, this has always been my favourite London hotel (I’ve worked in The City a lot so could walk to it, decent price point, decent upgrades). It is walkable from The Derby (5 mins) and similar price (160 GBP for Saturday night). Upgraded to City Suite on 2nd floor (lower than usual). View not as good. Free minibar as usual. Huge queues at reception and at breakfast (the latter was down to lack of staff rather than space). Savage Garden (rooftop bar) was brilliant though.
