The stay that saved my marriage. Brilliant stay at hotel of choice at Heathrow. Flew out of T3 but 15 min drive to M and G parking so no issues. Oxbo was awesome for dinner like it always is. Upgraded to a junior suite by the hotel from base and paid 160 GBP. Forgot the lounge was 5-7 to drinks and arrived too late for that. So, the marriage saving bit… anyone who has stayed here knows that the rooms can struggle for light and with an early flight, it can be worse. I managed to drop my watch out of my bag and when we did the sweep the following morning, didn’t see it. My wife bought it me as a present a few years ago. Housekeeping found it and held onto it and I’m already connected with the Director of Operations on LinkedIn. Messaged him and he shipped it free of charge back home (and tracked it). Didn’t realise it was missing until we got home. It’s my, as we say in Yorkshire ‘best watch’
