Platinum EliteKing (basic)→Club Floor King, 15th floorUpgraded
  • Lounge access
  • Free breakfast

Was upgraded day prior from King (basic) to Club Floor King on top 15th floor. Room was in OK shape, though clearly working with footprint of older hotel (small, cramped bathroom). Room adjacent to Club lounge, breakfast for elites served there 3 hours (6-9 weekdays, 7-10 weekends). Nothing to write home about, but served the purpose. Hotel is easy walk from terminal, less than 10 minutes. Airport shuttle runs 24/7.

Platinum EliteStandard King→Symphony Suite (Suite Night Award)Upgraded

Cheap points redemption available (12K for standard king with cash rate of $220). Re-applied NUA, which cleared same day in to "Symphony Suite". Invited to an evening wine reception in the Element lounge. $25 destination fee includes a $15 FNB credit. I also received an additional $15 FNB voucher for Platinum. Room, furnishings in line with my experience at ACs: minimalist, dark and perfectly fine.

Booked standard 1K at Hilton Sale Honors rate (25% off). Inquired via app chat morning of arrival re: upgrade, and changed to 1 K 2 room suite.

Platinum EliteBase King (conference rate)→Same category, top 22nd floorNo upgrade
  • Lounge access
  • Free breakfast
  • Bottled water
  • Fruit plate / sweets

Booked base 1K room through conference rate; no upgrade per se, but did wind up on top 22nd floor which provided some pleasant views, especially at sunrise. Received evening refresh and turn-down each night. Elite breakfast is provided in 2nd floor executive lounge only (7 days/week, until 11 am each day), of reasonable quality. Offerings also available each evening 5-7p.

Platinum EliteBase King Classic (AAA rate)→Executive Suite (Suite Night Award)Upgraded
  • Bonus points

Paid AAA rate for base 1K Classic; applied NUA and upgraded 5 days out to Executive Suite. Offered 1000 points or alternative as elite amenity. Room fine and functional, if not luxurious. Cumulatively, everything was OK, but some small tweaks and attention to detail would likely result in something closer to the elevated atmosphere hotel seems to be aiming for.

DiamondStandard King→King Junior Suite Skyline View (paid $30/night)No upgrade
  • Early check-in
  • Room with a view

Offered multiple NOR1 upgrades via app in advance, bit on the $30/night bump for king junior suite skyline view, which took approximately 2 weeks prior to stay. Reached hotel shortly after 10a and they accommodated early check-in, FDA stated she waived usual fee. Diamond daily FNB credit ($18/person/day) stacked with the amenity fee credit. Biggest pro for me was location. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Platinum EliteKing→Same room as bookedNo upgrade
  • Welcome gift

Stayed here initially for 1 night in November 2024, and then again in March 2025. Exactly what you'd expect from a Moxy: spartan rooms with limited furnishings and emphasis on communal space in lobby. Bathroom small, but shower pressure commendable. On check-in, you receive token for 1 free drink from bar. Valet parking only at hotel, but well-lit municipal parking garage is 1 block away.

Platinum EliteStandard 2 Queen→High Floor 2 Queen, 20th floorUpgraded
  • Lounge access
  • Free breakfast
  • Welcome gift
  • Room with a view

Standard 2Q room booked; pre-emptively upgraded morning of arrival to High Floor 2Q, placed on 20th floor, which provided good view of main branch of library and state Capitol. Third floor executive lounge was highlight: accessible bulk of day with breakfast and evening apps/drinks seven days/week. Daily $25 amenity fee, but that includes $25 food and beverage credit. Received bag of spicy snack mix as Bonvoy elite gift.

DiamondKing Superior (Surpass free night)→Same room as bookedNo upgrade

Single night Surpass FNA stay. Able to select King Superior room as "Standard", which proved to be amply spacious and comfortable, most certainly this would be considered a junior suite at other properties. Thoroughly enjoyable experience, particularly the bedding. No bathtub in Superior room. Diamond credit not applied on initial folio, quickly resolved via chat function in app.

Platinum EliteStandard King or 2 Queen (only categories)→Same category, top 4th floor, Fox River viewNo upgrade
  • Free breakfast
  • Room with a view

Only rooms in inventory seem to be 1K and 2Q, so no opportunity for elite upgrade, but placed centrally on highest (4th) floor with Fox River view (and glorious sunrises). Received $11/person vouchers for breakfast items at market cafe area in lobby. Service from FDAs, breakfast attendant, and bartender was great. Would definitely stay again.
