Back again at the Lismore, wrapping 2 night paid stay. Inquired about room upgrade via in-app chat day prior to check-in, and again obliged - placed into 2 bedroom suite (room 806) with full kitchen and living room (sofa, chair, large ship-lapped column that clearly used to house a fireplace), which frankly is more space than I needed, but certainly appreciated. Other observations: * Still have odd "blips" in water pressure in shower on regularly irregular every 90-120 second pattern. * In addition to Informalist (restaurant - open for dinner, room service) and ECDC coffee house (serving breakfast, coffee, lunch - closes at 5p; seemed to have high proportion of traffic all times of day, including local UWEC students hanging out to study), second floor Dive bar (in space that used to be pool) now open. Didn't visit, but serve pizzas from Informalist there in addition to light apps, drinks. Can use $15 FNB credit in all locations. * Customer service continues to shine - truly pleasant interactions with all staff encountered, with special recognition to FDA Drake This continues to be a favorite of mine - punches much higher than its weight for what you'd expect for both a DoubleTree and for Eau Claire (whose downtown area is continuing to see high degree of revitalization). Layout of 8th floor - rooms appear to be all junior suites (801-805) and 2 room (806-807). Door to K bedroom in rear of photo; door to Q bedroom opposite. Kitchen includes full fridge/freezer and cooktop. Column with ghost fireplace and TV immediately opposite sofa. Q bedroom - didn't snap pic of K. Notably, sole (full) bathroom with shower and separate tub is off K bedroom - anyone staying in Q would need to tromp through.
