There were 3 guests staying in the room in total, with 2 of us having VIP status. At breakfast, after a short discussion, they allowed complimentary breakfast for all 3 guests. As I understand it, there is a rule that if another VIP guest is staying in the room, one additional breakfast can also be complimentary, even if the booking was originally made for only 2 people. It seems that not all receptionists are aware of this policy. Still, it was a nice gesture from the staff, even though we had to ask another receptionist about it. During the stay we also received chocolate always when someone from stuff was in the room. In the lounge they serve lunch and dinner, also there is happy hour with complimentary alcohol.
The hotel was full, so no upgrade this time. Although from the window I could see the castle, so I'm not really sure. That's just what they told me at reception. The room was unbearably hot, so I asked to change rooms, but the other one was exactly the same. A technician came to check it and measured 32°C in the room. As compensation, I got free access to the wellness area, which used to be complimentary but isn't anymore, even for VIP guests.

We had 2 apartments on 2 different VIP accounts, premium one bedroom apartment had checkout only until 12, but 2 bedroom apartment had late checkout until 5PM so we could all move there and enjoy the whole day in the hotel until our flight. What I didn’t like was that the app states that the spa and gym are part of the hotel, which isn’t really true because they actually belong to a different partner hotel. You also have to pay extra to use them despite having VIP status, which was surprising to me because I’ve never seen guests having to pay for a hotel gym, especially when holding the highest status tier. On the positive side, the pools and sunbeds are complimentary for all hotel guests no matter status, although you need to reserve a spot early because they fill up quickly.
