The reception staff were very friendly, but despite the upgrade, the room looked pretty terrible… The couch was extremely dirty, the bed felt like a sofa bed, and overall the room had a very worn-out vibe. We were quite disappointed. We didn’t receive any welcome gift, and nobody thanked us for our VIP status either. On top of that, there was quite a lot of noise coming from the main road that our room was facing. However, they mentioned that the hotel will be renovated soon, so hopefully things will improve. Breakfast was fairly okay, but the vegetables looked very dried out, almost like they had been sitting there for a few days. The man working at breakfast was very friendly.

We received chocolate-covered nuts as a welcome gift and a drink voucher for each guest in the room for the rooftop bar. We also got lounge access thanks to the upgrade to the executive floor. We had complimentary wellness too, although I don’t think that was related to our status. However, we were told that after February it would become an extra paid service for everyone, around 200 CZK per person, I think.

I saw upgrade in the app in advance. We've got one bedroom apartment with small kitchen.

A couple of days before arrival, I asked the front office via chat if it would be possible to get an upgrade to an Executive Room with two queen beds, and they upgraded me two days before arrival. The room can accommodate up to 4 guests in total, and for each additional guest you only pay the city tax, which is 50 CZK per night. We also got free breakfast for all 3 guests and lounge access.

They told us they would even have upgraded us to a Suite (which was actually a Junior Suite), but they didn’t have any with separate beds available, so we stayed in a standard room that they upgraded us to with a pool view. Of course, we also got access to the executive lounge, which was pretty decent. During happy hour they served alcohol, which can otherwise be quite difficult to get in Oman, and is very expensive in hotel bars. They were a bit slow at restocking the beer once it ran out — there were usually only a few bottles sitting in a container with cold water. Besides beer, there were other types of alcohol available too, although I have to say it seemed to be fairly cheap alcohol. As for food, during happy hour they always served some snacks, something warm, and soup. Cookies and soft drinks were available throughout the whole day.

We received a suite along with a small welcome gift, Coke, and some snacks. Parking is paid at the same rate regardless of VIP status. There is no wellness in the hotel, but there is a gym available for all guests free of charge. There is also a dedicated VIP area at breakfast, and I think the à la carte menu is available exclusively for VIP guests.

We received an upgrade to the highest room category, a Suite with access to the executive lounge. As a VIP guest, you also get lounge access even without an upgrade to an executive room. We received a drink voucher, a small gift, a Radisson notebook, and some other small items. The lounge had a happy hour in the evening with alcohol and hot food, while during the day they served cookies, nuts, fruit, soft drinks, and coffee.

Upon arrival, we received a scratch card where we could win either nothing or a free drink, I think, and we ended up winning a free drink. We also received complimentary breakfast, which was decent — fairly basic, nothing special. It’s mainly a budget hotel, which is reflected in the price, and they also don’t have any higher room categories available for an upgrade. But it’s new, modern and clean.
