This was a 7 night multiple reservation stay that was absolutely wonderful for our Machu Pichu, Sacred Valley and Rainbow Mountain holiday. We opted to stay here for the entire time and do day trips. Knowing that the excursions were long days (12-18 hours each), we added extra days to recover and rest between tours. It worked well and I recommend that option if time and funds allow. Cusco is beautiful with pretty churches, plazas, shopping and excellent restaurants that we enjoyed on our down days. Another option is to move to the Sacred Valley for touring there and shorter travel time to Machu Pichu. Reservations: Used American Express FHR for 2 nights which gives a statement credit on our cc bill. Included a $150 spa credit and other amenities (breakfast, late check out) that we also receive with Titanium Status. This was our first booking through the AmEx portal and it worked perfectly. Prompted for Bonvoy number during booking and reservation populated in both Marriott Bonvoy and AmEx accounts. Points and stay posted quickly after checking out. Reserved 2 nights with Marriott FNAs. They were saver awards and only had to top off 11k on one (one at 35k and one at 45k) Final 3 nights were cash and booked with a special for staying 3 nights or more. Booked a classic king and upgraded for entire stay to a king suite (without NUA) Arrival: 20 minutes from airport and 25€ taxi Francesca assisted at check in and acknowledged status and special celebrations. Upgraded us to a suite for the entire stay. The destination fee includes a property tour, pisco class, and changing daily tour/activity. Property: The property is historic with careful respect to the local culture and architecture. This translates to some beautiful quirks and uniqueness. The walls are thick, small windows, and colonial style furnishings. Our suite had all of the amenities you'd expect - mini fridge, safe etc. The rooms weren't large but it was nice to have space to spread out a bit. Location is great in Cusco for walking, dining and shopping. Our tour drivers had no problem finding us. Dining: A grab and go breakfast of sandwich, fruit and snack was set up every day from 4-5 am for people leaving on early tours. The regular breakfast buffet started at 5 am and was lovely. Local specialties and cooked to order offerings. Spa: I emailed the spa ahead of our stay to schedule my massage. They were very responsive and sent the entire service menu along with recommendations. I enjoyed my massage and quiet time in the small spa. Concierge staff was vey helpful for recommendations. There were often at least 4 on duty and making sure we didn't require assistance as we waited for a tour driver. Of course the highlight is Inti the on property alpaca A lovely stay and highly recommend

Fantastic stay at JW Marriott Lima, Peru Pre Arrival: Received a detailed email 3 weeks prior to arrival for special requests/assistance. Our reply was received and acknowledged promptly. The 2 events we were celebrating (retirement and anniversary) were noted and stated that an amenity would be in our room (which it was). Confirmed that our room would be held since our arrival would be after midnight. Titanium status NUAs (4 nights) cleared 5 days out to a Master suite ocean front concierge level room from a king urban room Transportation: We opted for the hotel provided service due to our very late arrival. $59 US charged to our room. Meeting point was near baggage claim at an office. The agent had our names, radioed the driver, agent escorted us to the driver. No searching for him. Car was at the curb. Super easy. For our departure, we booked an Uber for $22. Allow about 45-60 minutes to/from airport Check in: Gabriela greeted us and assisted with check in. Very friendly and professional. Also acknowledged our special celebrations. Explained Titanium benefits and property. Gave us a coupon for a free signature drink at the bar. Andres escorted us to our room and gave us a tour 2 welcome amenities - fruit and local salts (one amenity for status and one for celebrations) Suite: Room was gorgeous! - light woods, nice lighting, power controls for blinds. US style electrical outlets but one European outlet in the bathroom for the hair dryer. 2 a/c zones - living room and bathroom/bedroom (controls in bathroom but a/c reached bedroom well). Strong a/c. Some road noise from sirens or horns but no "regular" road noise. Room was clean and in good repair. Nightly turn down service Lounge: Open 24/7 for sodas, coffee, small take away snacks. Also serves breakfast lunch and dinner with free beer and wine at dinner. Elevated and beautifully presented. Try the Inka Cola - bright yellow, tastes like bubble gum. Manuel in the lounge always remembered us and welcomed us back. Restaurant: Breakfast buffet was fresh and plentiful. Egg station for cooked to order options. Several local specialties Service: Service and staff was always friendly and attentive in all encounters in every department/area. Location: Wonderful location in Miraflores across from a modern open air shopping mall, restaurants and multiple walks on the cliffs above the sea. Short walk north to The Kiss statue or south to Bridge of Sighs. Paddington Bear statue across the street. Short walk to the vibrant Barranco district with street murals and cafes. Many locals and tourists- felt very safe. Security guards at hotel and police visibly present. We traveled downtown to the historic district for sightseeing and tours there. It's a smaller area with a few plazas and buildings of interest. We enjoyed our time in Miraflores for morning and evening walks, ocean views, breezes and the one sunset we saw (the weather in early September was overcast but humid - similar to coastal California June gloom). Very little trash, many workers cleaning the public areas. Did not utilize the gym A really wonderful stay in all aspects - highly recommend

Solid stay for one night after our arrival from Denver. Good pre arrival communication via app and information on the free shuttle to the property which is just a few minutes away. Quick check in and upgrade to a suite - Titanium status. We did not park at the hotel - we took the free shuttle upon arrival and picked up the rental car back at the airport the next morning. Opted for $10 food and beverage credit. We upgraded to the omelet station for breakfast which was $18 each. The $10 was applied properly to our bill. Room was clean and in good repair (ie no tears in furniture, cracked tiles etc). Bathroom had a shower and separate bathtub and many bath towels. Very little road noise - only with extremely loud cars. We did hear other guests' room doors close. Walmart is next door We inadvertently left a pair of shoes in our room. Called the hotel and they are holding them until our return stay before our flight home. Points and stay credit properly applied for the current promotion 48 hours after check out. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent in Edinburgh!!! Debated among the Glasshouse (we love Autographs), Sheraton Grand and W. Took a risk on the W as it is a new hotel (opened November 2023). Fabulous stay! Pre arrival upgrade from Wonderful Room (entry level) to Fabulous Suite Arrival at hotel and check in was wonderful with Loi and Shay. Thanked for loyalty, offered welcome champagne (which was refilled), Loi proactively gave us a map as well as 2 drink coupons for the bar. Bellhop Ben helped us to our room, gave us a tour of the features and remembered our names throughout our 3 night stay. Welcome God and Goddess cocktails in the room as Ambassador Status. They are available in the room for purchase otherwise. They were laid out on the volcano bar which is a nod to the forming of Scotland. Also welcome note and sweets in the room as a thank you for loyalty. Suite is well appointed - power curtains, lots of charge ports, phone charge pad next to each side of the bed, free movie channel on tv, live plants, huge and thick bath towels, Dyson hairdryer. Room was very quiet - no exterior noise whatsoever. Location: 30 minute taxi from airport to hotel. Cost £46 pounds going in with an efficient taxi queue at the airport. Return was £35. The FDA organized it for us. There is a much cheaper tram option but we chose the easier option due to luggage Hotel is adjacent to a very nice mall, 7 minutes walk to Royal Mile. Very minor tv glitch the first night which was addressed while we were out touring. Wouldn't mention it but received a hand written note and specialty chocolates for our imposition. This is indicative of the attention to care from this team! Service is proactive and anticipatory. Everyone is friendly and pauses to smile, greet, interact or assist. I usually don't comment on how comfortable the bed is because everyone has a personal preference, but this bed was fantastic! Breakfast included due to status. Hot and cold a la carte. All was very good and with beautiful presentation. Marik and Demetrius took great care of us every day. Would love to return and enjoy the terraces in better weather. Husband said this is the kind of hotel you hate to leave to go to work or sightsee. Did not use gym, spa or restaurants other than breakfast
