    Stayed at the newly opened The Emerald House in Lisbon last night. Booked Corner suite and got upgraded to the Emerald Suite, 1402 on the 4th floor with views of the Sanctuary of Christ the King. The hotel consists of 2 sections, the ancient one from the 17th-18th century (back side of the hotel where the suite was located) and the new section with rooms with higher ceilings built a few years ago. They have a lovely trolley in the lobby with chocolates. I asked the associate if they were for sale and he told me that they are free and I can take as much as I want. The minibar with 2 bottles of water, one sparkling and a coke is free, then the refill is chargeable. They have a suitepad which replaces the old hotel directory book in the room. Breakfast was alacarte and still needs some improvement which is normal for a newly opened hotel. The bathtub on display near the dining restaurant was lovely as well as the lounge/library one level down near the fitness center. Overall a very nice stay although a bit far from the airport but about 2. 6km to the main square, Arco da rua augusta.     1 bedroom suite, 14th floor with panoramic views Booked king guest room with points at Doubletree M square Dubai, upgraded to a 1 bedroom suite with panoramic views. We had to wait until 2:30pm for the room. We came 12noon and was told they could upgrade us to a 2 bedroom apartment (about 50USD more expensive than the suite we got) but it was on the 2nd floor so we told the associate we could wait Happy new year to all!!!

    Stayed at the Hilton Manila (May 27-28) and got upgraded to a One Bedroom Suite as a diamond member We used the complimentary shuttle from Terminal 3 which took less than 10 minutes. On the way back, we opted for the complimentary shuttle to Runway Manila. It is definitely much better as it is directly connected to Terminal 3. Complimentary shuttle to and from T3 One bedroom suite Runway Manila connected to Terminal 3 Lovely soft ice cream from the breakfast buffet

    We stayed here a few weeks ago. Also got the towel, meal and drinks voucher as a Diamond member. The dimsum was very good. I can't remember the other choice. Drinks were served with nuts Towel

    Stayed in this hotel a few weeks ago. Arrived after 12midnight and the associate checking us in said he'll find a quiet room for us. No room upgrade, but as promised we didn't hear anything from our room on the 6th floor. Or maybe we were too tired from our flight from Hong Kong The hotel was full and was told there is a group from Qatar Airways or something. As a diamond, we also got a drink voucher plus a meal voucher for 50QR which we used in room service where we only had to pay the 15QR delivery charge. The hotel is walking distance to the newly opened National Museum of Qatar which is definitely worth a visit as the architecture is really impressive and which Qatar can really be proud of.

    We stayed here last Thursday and as a Diamond member, were upgraded to a suite with view of the Han Bridge. Staff in the EL were exceptional, even opening and pouring my soya milk The hotel opened last December and is very new and all the staff I had contact with were always smiling, I guess they stopped serving iberico ham as they only had parma ham during breakfast. The rooftop pool felt like it was heated

    Recently stayed in this hotel. Booked deluxe twin and was upgraded to executive twin as a Diamond member. Le Meridien KL where we stayed the night before upgraded me to their Le Meridien Suite as a Platinum Elite so I'd say Marriott treats their elites better (or maybe it was a coincidence). The evening cocktails at the Hilton KL was also not that impressive and the food took time to get refilled. The one in the Le Meridien was probably one of the best we've had: the kitchen makes noodles for you and there was also an oxtail dish from the buffet The fitness center and the pool with water slide are both located on the Hilton side which is a plus, altho guests from Le Meridien could also access them.
