Welcome gift
Just had an excellent stay here. This place punches above its weight for sure
Excellent welcome from the management & upgrade to a Junior Suite (not really a Junior Suite LOL, but YMMV). Took the breakfast option as a welcome amenity. Room, quiet, comfortable with v good pillows/bedding. Bed was also very nice. It's true that some fixtures & fittings might not last too well as they felt a little/cheap/flimsy. Let's see.
Breakfast excellent. As usual, pick & choose carefully but very nice bread/muffins/bakery etc. & barista coffee included & of a decent quality too. Staff great. I've had much worse breakfast experiences in JW's/Conrads etc etc. I can assure you.
We will return for sure.

Lounge access
Recently completed an enjoyable 4 nights stay here as a Diamond.
I had booked a King Superior Room for a flexible rate of around 400 euro/night (too much!) & subsequently monitored rates only to find flexible rates dropped to around 250 euro/night a few weeks before the stay (much more palatable!). Booked. I then saw a Nor-1 option for a King Deluxe Suite at 80 euro/night, applied for it & waited. Nothing cleared a few days out so I sent a quick e-mail to the front desk asking if they'd confirm the Suite immediately & they did indeed. Happy with that.
This property certainly punches above its weight as a Hilton - a lot has been spent on the public areas & the rooms here &, frankly, it's probably the nicest Hilton I've stayed in outside of Asia, where we reside. There were some niggles though; the bedside USB ports on one side of the bed never worked - & "couldn't be fixed, as its an Apple problem"....eh?. The bathroom was obviously not fully refurbed when the hotel was completed. Shower over bath & one sink is sub-par.
The breakfast buffet was just "ok" but missed certain pretty standard items (bircher muesli, smoked salmon) but did include items to order (waffles, pancakes etc) for which we never saw a menu, for whatever reason. Service was hit & miss.
The Executive lounge, whilst small-ish, was beautifully furnished etc. However, the snack/food offerings were meagre whilst the drinks selection was pretty good (free-pour too).
Overall, the location (a short stroll to the old town), style & facilities of this place are outstanding & we'd happily stay again if visiting Dubrovnik.
Titanium EliteStandard King→King One Bedroom Lounge Access SuiteUpgraded
Very interesting. I stayed last week & was upgraded to a King 1 Bed Suite on 17th floor, using SNAs. No road noise to speak of, epic water pressure, & well equipped! The only negative was that the suite is quite worn out but was very comfortable. We were going to check out an apartment (never got to it) for future reference but perhaps not now?!
DiamondKing Executive Room→King Family SuiteUpgraded
Millennium Hilton Bangkok:
Room 1: Booked King Executive Room & received comp upgrade to King Family Suite.
Room 2 (same booking) Booked King Family Suite - no comp upgrade - paid 2,000 baht net for upgrade to King Panoramic Executive Suite.
Titanium EliteStandard King→Same room as bookedNo upgrade
Lounge access
Wrapping up two night stay here. Very very underwhelming.
*Zero upgrade-booked Standard King & got Standard King.
*Dated 1990's style bathroom with over bath shower setup.
*Horrible lumpy synthetic pillows.
*Bedside USB points not working.
*Crap breakfast in the restaurant - cheap nasty bread & bakery, one single self-service coffee/tea machine for the entire restaurant! (absolutely ridiculous).
*Laughably small Executive Lounge for a hotel with over 300 rooms.
We will not be returning.

Excellent upgrade here. Very large suite, massive bathroom & guest bathroom off of living room. Good service & decent breakfast in restaurant or Club Lounge + 1000 points amenity. Very pleased overall.
