    I stayed here earlier this month and thought that the hotel was okay for the price I paid (it was the cheapest Hilton hotel with a lounge during my date). The food and drinks offering was very good in the lounge although the hot dishes offering could have been better. A really nice perk for diamonds to have breakfast in The Governor and have ala carte dining aside from the buffet. I thought the pool was too small. The Conrad Bangkok and Millenium Bangkok Hotel are much better but since I was alone, the stay here was fine for me.

    Wasserturm Hotel Cologne, Curio Collection by Hilton Upgraded to a Duplex room on the app a day before arrival, upgraded to a Junior Suite with Cathedral views instead during check-in. The original building was the biggest water tower in Europe when it was built so it was kind of cool staying here. There is a rooftop bar offering lovely views of the city.     I stayed here for 2 nights in May. The staff were friendly as expected. I got an upgrade to a King executive room which is your typical Hilton room in Asia. I thought the Executive Lounge was nice although the afternoon tea offering was basic and they only had 2 hot dishes plus some canapes during Happy Hour. The breakfast buffet was very good although the restaurant itself was not the best I have seen. The hotel has 2 pools, one located near the breakfast restaurant and the other located in the Golf and country Club (where the fitness center is also located). There is not much to see around the hotel so one day, I took a taxi to the nearby Sunway Pyramid Shopping Mall which is a really nice mall. Overall, a nice hotel and perfect if you love playing golf

I believe breakfast will be buffet style once they start fully operational. The lounge was still closed so we had the afternoon tea and happy hour inside the Gingerfire Restaurant (breakfast restaurant). This hotel has 3 pools, a private beach, 7 spa treatment rooms and a sauna/steam room. It is a really nice hotel with great staff!     We are staying here and as a diamond, we got upgraded to a king premier corner room on the 17th floor. The views were just fantastic! Breakfast is also being served in the Executive Lounge (the lady said they started serving breakfast in the lounge last April/May due to diamonds complaining about the noise in the main restaurant). She said they only offer continental breakfast but when I checked the buffet, they had at least 6 hot dishes and an egg station. The evening canapes offering in the lounge was enough for a decent dinner. The location is great, walking distance to the Opera House, Post office, etc. as others have said. On another note, our flight in Saigon arrived at 8:30pm last Friday but the line to passport control was very long (shortage of staff I guess) so by the time we got to the hotel, it was already 10:50pm.     We recently stayed at both hotels. The Tru by Hilton Hanoi Station is really new so the rooms are nice. The hand sink is located outside the bathroom, there are only USB-A ports for charging by the bed and there is no hand wash in the hand sink, only hand lotion. Noises from the station could be heard from our room on the 12th floor. Breakfast is okay, pretty much like at Hampton Inns. From there, it is walking distance to the famous Hanoi Train Street (South Train Street) which was worth a visit. The Hilton Garden Inn is an old hotel but the breakfast buffet is much better. As others have mentioned, they give diamonds drink vouchers to be used in the bar. From the hotel, we walked to the Old Quarter, Dong Xuan Market, etc.

    We stayed here recently and did not expect much. It is an old hotel and the rooms are dated although as a diamond, I got an upgrade to a suite on our second stay. They give complimentary drink vouchers which you can use in the bar. Breakfast was good, they had an egg station and a noodle station. The welcome drink during check-in was a hot corn drink. The welcome amenity in the room was a fruit basket and a local dessert. One time during breakfast, we were given herb tea as a diamond. The location is good (walking distance to the Old Quarter) and the staff were very helpful and friendly. We prefer this over the Tru by Hilton Hanoi Station where we stayed a few days earlier.
